Colourful Fireworks

Bonfire night is this weekend, a night I loved as a child and still do, wrapped up in layers, eating toffee apples, watching above in awe. Dark skies light up, beautiful shapes are formed, colours are vibrant and everything seems to sparkle. For those moments everyone is silent watching the display above us. It may only be one night a year so here are some other ways we can all have a bit of colourful sparkle on a more regular basis, I won't say no. Enjoy! X

A bit of everything ....Pinteresting

I have a habit of constantly saving random images on my IPad, my library currently hold over thousand images that I have collected. That are of nothing in particular just something that catches my eye, whether it be a gorgeous kitchen that I would one day love to own, a destination that I want on my must visit list, a charming teapot and cups, libraries, delicious looking sweets and many more, so I thought I would put them to,good use and share them with you all! Happy Tuesday! X

June Loves...

Warm, lazy days. Weekends with girlfriends, gossiping, eating and drinking as we all get ready for the first wedding of our gang (super excited!) On the hunt for the perfect nude shoes and bag to go with my new pink dress purchase for the wedding, gonna be a tresure hunt that i cant wait for. Opening a box of jewel-like Laduree perfect treat especially with Sunday afternoon tea. Messy buns or perfect waves. Trips to the theatre make the mid week list, Shakespeare is at the top. Waking up in crisp white sheets to the sight of a blue Spring sky. Lazy afternoons spent peacefully reading, my Summer must reads are piling high, some classic made the lisy waiting for me to begin. All of which I am looking forward to, hope you all have a lovely June X

May Loves ...

I can't believe that May is here already the months are flying by, May to me always epitomises the start of Summer.

Especially here in the UK the light nights are in full swing, you can sit out in the garden till the late hours and it still feels like early evening as the last of the sun's warm glow is upon your skin. BBQ's are being brought out the garden sheds as weekend are spent having good food and drink whilst relaxing with friend in pretty gardens.

Bold colours tops have excitedly been purchased for the Summer wardrobe, sandals an light knits are on the shopping list to go with those carefully planned outfits. Two bank holidays to enjoy this month is another perfect excuse to love May. The smell of suntan lotion from my early vacation is something that I wish I could keep in a small bottle and bring out every time I need a pick me up when the Summer weather isn't going exactly how I'd hoped. Mint choc chip ice cream or pineapple ice lollies are starting to appear in the freezer. Danish pastries are the perfect and delicious breakfast snack to munch on, as the sun appears for another glorious weekend.

All Things Red

Today I noticed that I was surrounded a lot by red. I wore a red dress to work, I was working on Valentine's 2012, my trainers I worked out in have red on them, my car got washed and the brushes were red and my brother purchased a red bag. So below are some of my favourite and quirky red images.

Sample Of Spring Shoes

It’s now time to get rid of those Winter boots and introduce that Summer footwear, preparing for Spring/Summer most of us are very likely to go on a huge shopping spree that invariably includes buying one more pair of footwear that we will later love to wear.An this season is not one to disappoint as designers have expanded their creative minds and supplied us with an array of fanciful foot ware for us all to lust over. Two of my favourites, the platform wedge and classic flats have made another appearance this year but as you will see below there is a refreshing take on the designs which has made me want them even more.

           Prada
Topshop
Platform wedges are hotter than ever this Spring/ Summer 2011 making them a hot trend once again as they were on full display at the catwalks of Prada and Marc Jacobs. Common designs have been added to platform to make them look even more stylish, there are modest wedges which are fantastic for everyday wear and very exquisite designs you would want to wear for a glamorous night out. Thanks to Prada you’ll also be seeing a lot of bright block colours purples, blues and greens whilst Chanel have been promoting pastels.

Flats in the past have generally been perceived as old fashioned and focused basically on the comfort, with most people choosing to wear fashionable heals even if they do cause crippling pain. However, the styles of flats in Spring/ Summer 2011 are very diverse: ballerina flats, oxford flats and sandals, etc. With their mixed collection flats have become more glamorous and attractive and this makes those more versatile, you can now pair them either with a cute dress or a stylish pair of jeans.
